Yezi Lee

Yezi Lee draws inspiration from materials found in nature, underscoring her commitment to minimising waste within her creations. With a dedication to crafting objects that emphasise the inherent beauty of their material, Lee explores how pieces undergo natural ageing and growth in harmony with their environment.

Her one-of-a-kind pieces are the accumulation of diverse types of wood, employing Sang Gam, a technique defined by the engraving and inlaying of materials to create patterns. For this particular series, Lee introduced cherry blossoms in Sang Gam in oxidised wood.
